As my friend Kathy and I were talking on the phone she was painting her living room. My computer was having a glitch of a day and wouldn’t let me write any stories. I was hoping Kathy knew the solution to glitches and we’d both quickly be on our way to painting and stories.
All her suggestions I had already tried with no success. She suggested that maybe the timing was wrong. To set aside the story and try later, reasons for glitches could be a vessel of God’s timing, she said.
What is the story? she asked.
Lightning I told her, never fear the Lightning nor the Thunder, it’s God talking. She agreed.
Kathy went on to tell me about her friend that carried a peace in time, knowing God’s Son was crossing off the days of his coming. She believes it is this generation that won’t pass away without seeing the Son of man in the clouds coming to earth*****
I then grabbed my story and recited the red letters.
“For as the lightning that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven; shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.”
Luke 17:24
Matthew 24:27
The glitch wasn’t keeping us from the story. We realized there is a time Kathy wouldn’t be painting, she wouldn’t need a ladder, her brush wouldn’t harden while talking on the phone. In an unannounced time, a lightning will appear for all our world to see. From the East to the West all nations in an instant, the blink of an eye will be reminded of a Story* Kathy will have a new place that is prepared especially for her by a King, ready and waiting…
A flash ushering in a Kingdom. A spiritual construction has been in blueprint from the beginning of time and this day is being known to all that choose to Believe* Christ came in a time to be born and suffer. He had to suffer before he could reign. His day of suffering was over at the cross, it is now close to another time, his time to rein.
From one end of our world to the other, there’s coming a day, an invitation will crack, flash and thunder for all to see.
As I sat at Bob Evans today and two of my friends shared deep sufferings they had in common, the loss of a husband. Why? one asked. Why this suffering? Jesus reminds so often he too was a man of great sorrow. He suffered and died on our earth. He was misunderstood and rejected even by ones close to him. Why? It has all to do with the new world and us being there.
I agree if this was all there was in life, what we see here on earth, it is a sad story to many, but it is not the end of the story.
There is another world yearning to come, and will, as soon as Gods glitches are done, and his Time is right** God takes an effectual course to preserve those who are his. He knows your name. He has a Book where you are written down in Glory. Luke 10:20
Kathy was right, glitches sometimes make time right. Thunder and Lightning is the expression of oneself, God.
